Linde Invests in 5MW PEM Electrolyzers to Reduce Emissions, Expand Hydrogen Capacity

Linde news announced they are investing in the first of several planned five-megawatt PEM electrolyzers to build up its hydrogen capacity. The combined potential of the new and existing plant will allow Linde to avert a maximum of 75,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions each year. With an expected startup date in the second half of 2024, this new electrolyzer is just one of many environmentally friendly hydrogen projects that Linde is looking into across the United States.
