In partnership with Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment (GUOFUHEE) and their local counterpart, Go For Hydrogen Africa (GFHA), this center aims to be a groundbreaking testing site for clean hydrogen production and a training ground for future engineers. While it’s not quite a fully-fledged commercial operation yet, it’s laying the groundwork for bigger projects by pooling knowledge, tools, and local expertise all in one place.

It’s more expensive than grey hydrogen and fossil fuels, while the water needed for electrolysis could push resources to the limit unless we look into recycling or desalination.
