A trial project to test how existing natural gas pipelines can be repurposed for hydrogen distribution. The trial uses INEOS-supplied hydrogen along a 29-kilometer decommissioned pipeline section running from Grangemouth to Granton in Scotland.

INEOS announced plans to build a low-carbon hydrogen plant at the Grangemouth site as part of its commitment to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2045.

A pilot project to transition an industrial cogeneration plant from natural gas to hydrogen fuel, beginning with a 10 percent hydrogen blend and potentially increasing to 20 percent.
