NEDO-adopted demo of hydrogen furnace at Kobe Steel Takasago Works.

A demonstration project validating hydrogen fuel blending with natural gas on an M501G gas turbine at Georgia Power's Plant McDonough-Atkinson facility in Smyrna, Georgia. The project achieved a 20 percent hydrogen blend, reducing carbon emissions by 7 percent compared to natural gas alone.

An advanced class natural gas turbine capable of operating on hydrogen-blended fuel mixtures. The facility operates six of these state-of-the-art large-capacity turbines, each delivering approximately 265 MW of output.
