PET recycling tech gains approval from the European Union

The EFSA granted approval to four companies for their PET recycling technologies, which are intended for use in food packaging. The EFSA's Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes and Processing Aids (CEP) reviews recycled plastics and additives for safety in food and beverage packaging.
