The traditional industrial method for synthesizing ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen, which is known for its high energy consumption and significant carbon footprint.

Renewable electricity generation combined with energy storage to power the hydrogen and ammonia production facility. The project includes an existing 8.65 MW (DC) solar farm and a new 27 MW (DC) solar farm with a 30MWh Battery Energy Storage System.

Hydrogen produced through water electrolysis using renewable electricity, with zero associated carbon emissions, to be incorporated into the Baytown facility's diverse hydrogen supply mix.
