A collaborative project between Equinor, Thyssenkrupp, and OGE to reduce carbon emissions from Thyssenkrupp's Duisburg steel plant through hydrogen integration and CO2 capture and storage. The feasibility study began in October 2019 and demonstrated the technical viability of splitting CO2 from fossil fuel-derived hydrogen during steelmaking.
