Direct drilling into active volcanic magma to access extreme heat sources for energy generation and scientific observation.

EGS are artificial reservoirs created underground in areas with hot rock, where fluid pathways are enhanced through safe drilling processes to increase connectivity. These pathways allow fluid to flow through the hot rock, bringing heat to the surface for electricity generation.
