Hydrogen derived from natural gas with carbon capture technology, debated as a potential stepping stone or greenwashing.

Ammonia produced using blue hydrogen as a feedstock, resulting in lower carbon emissions compared to conventional ammonia production. SABIC's Jubail facility produced 37,800 tons and SASREF produced 8,075 tons.
