Hydrogen transmission infrastructure comprises pipelines, compressor stations, and related facilities adapted or built to transport hydrogen at scale, with H2Med being a planned corridor connecting the Iberian Peninsula to France and other EU markets.[4]

Renewable, often called green, hydrogen is hydrogen produced using electricity from renewable energy sources such as wind or solar to split water into hydrogen and oxygen in an electrolyser, resulting in very low lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared with hydrogen derived from fossil fuels.[3]

Hyloop+ is described as a hydrogen calibration laboratory in Zaragoza that will host what Enagás presents as the first primary volume standard for hydrogen in Europe, serving as a reference facility for metrology in hydrogen infrastructure.
