First commercial fabric-recycling facility using the cotton recycling technology developed by Royal Institute of Technology and re:newcell. The facility will process discarded cotton clothing into reusable fabric.

Fabric produced from recycled cotton clothing through a process that shreds old apparel, breaks it down to molecular level, and transforms it into fiber for thread production. The first commercial garment made entirely from this material was a yellow dress produced in June.
