A manufacturing method for creating ceramic materials by mixing boron with organic fuels (like urea) and metal nitrates in a box furnace at temperatures below 750°F (400°C). The organic fuels and nitrates ignite, generating heat that drives the reaction without requiring external power.

Boron-cage ceramic structures containing crystalline formations, created from barium hexaboride, calcium hexaboride, and strontium. These materials can be modified to store hydrogen by swapping boron, strontium, and calcium atoms with hydrogen atoms.
