An anaerobic digester will be built at the Detroit Zoo to convert animal and food waste into clean energy, capable of powering the zoo's animal hospital and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

New facility generating hydrogen from water waste to test electricity grid services capability and supply hydrogen to heavy-duty vehicles.
