The first commercial demonstration of Hyzon's liquid hydrogen fuel cell electric truck (LH2 FCEV), involving a 540-mile journey from Temple, Texas to Dallas-area Performance Food Group customer locations. The project validated the viability of liquid hydrogen for long-distance commercial trucking applications.

A commercial heavy-duty truck powered by a fuel cell system using liquid hydrogen as fuel. The vehicle features a proprietary 200 kilowatt fuel cell system and a cryogenic tank system developed with Chart Industries to store liquid hydrogen at -400°F. The truck demonstrated a range of over 540 miles in the commercial demonstration.

A specialized tank system developed by Chart Industries in partnership with Hyzon Motors designed to store liquid hydrogen at -400°F while maintaining the required pressure for delivery to the fuel cell system. The system enables increased fuel storage without adding vehicle weight or reducing payload.

A proprietary fuel cell system developed by Hyzon Motors that converts liquid hydrogen into electricity to power the vehicle's electric motor. The system is designed to deliver long-distance range of 650-800 miles when commercialized.
