A research initiative to develop a new fuel cell catalyst using nanotechnology that reduces platinum content by 85% while improving catalytic activity by over 30 times compared to conventional catalysts.

Research project by University of New South Wales to develop an inexpensive hydrogen fuel cell catalyst using iron, nickel, and copper as alternatives to platinum-based catalysts.

A prototype hydrogen fuel cell powered by solar energy using amorphous molybdenum sulphides as the catalyst material. The project is in the planning stage with testing planned for the near future.
