A research and development project to create a large metal sail system made of aluminum-plastic fiber composite to harness wind power and reduce fuel consumption and emissions from cargo vessels. The system is designed to be deployable and retractable based on weather conditions.

A deployable metal sail structure made of aluminum-plastic fiber composite designed for cargo ships. The sails reach 164 feet in height and 65 feet in width, capturing wind currents to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The system can be lowered during turbulent weather.
