Hydrogen blending trial with natural gas

A trial project to inject hydrogen into an existing natural gas network at Keele University, blending up to 20% hydrogen (by volume) with natural gas to test whether this approach can reduce carbon emissions from heat without requiring customers to change appliances or behavior.

An electrolyser system to be installed at the Hydrogene De France hydrogen fuel station for onsite hydrogen production.
