Molecular Energy Market Intelligence & Business Development Analyst

MolecularX and HydrogenFuelNews are looking for a highly analytical researcher to identify commercial opportunities across the global hydrogen and molecular-energy industry.

You will investigate hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, e-fuel and related projects worldwide and transform fragmented public information into actionable business intelligence.

Your work will identify who is building projects, what technologies they require, expected procurement timelines, potential suppliers, production capacity, potential offtakers, financing status, FID status, infrastructure requirements and key decision makers.

You will monitor company announcements, tenders, government programs, project databases, regulatory filings and industry news to identify commercial signals before they become obvious sales opportunities.

You will work closely with our business-development and AI teams to build structured datasets and train systems that automatically identify and score commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities include project and company research; tender/RFQ discovery; identification of producers, buyers and technology suppliers; validation of project information; identification of decision makers; competitor research; maintenance of structured commercial datasets; and preparation of opportunity briefs for the business-development team.

Experience in energy, hydrogen, chemicals, engineering, market intelligence, investigative research or B2B lead generation is desirable. Strong research skills and an obsessive attention to data quality are more important than traditional sales experience.

Excellent written English is required. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Spanish or German are particularly valuable.
