Clean Air Task Force (CATF)

Signed the joint statement with 39 other organizations recommending lead markets for low-carbon products in the IAA. Founded in 1996, operates globally with offices in Brussels. Recent European work includes supporting hydrogen hubs and industrial decarbonization policies.[4]

CATF was appointed to the Louisiana Clean Hydrogen Task Force in 2024. The organization has a 25+ year history of climate and clean energy policy work, is widely recognized in the field, and played a key role in developing the Task Force’s report and recommendations[2].

CATF organized a Warsaw roundtable, bringing together stakeholders from government and industry to discuss challenges and opportunities for scaling clean hydrogen in Poland. CATF has published recommendations for making Poland’s hydrogen transition fit its national context while ensuring industrial decarbonisation.[5][

CATF is sending a delegation to COP30 to campaign for technology-inclusive solutions and advances in clean hydrogen, renewables, carbon capture, nuclear, and methane reduction[2].

CATF conducted a survey of key stakeholders in the trucking industry regarding the role and development of hydrogen-based trucking.
