SunHydrogen's proprietary technology uses electroplated nanoparticles to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen using only sunlight. The technology is designed as an H2 panel containing multiple hydrogen generators immersed in water, each with billions of nanoparticles.

COTEC's expertise in industrial electroplating and electrochemical processes will be applied to reproduce SunHydrogen's lab-scale nanoparticle hydrogen generation at commercial scale.

A Memorandum of Understanding between SunHydrogen and COTEC to scale up nanoparticle-based hydrogen generation from lab scale to commercial scale using industrial electroplating processes. The goal is to showcase the world's first nanoparticle-based green hydrogen production at commercial scale.

SunHydrogen made a significant investment in TECO 2030 with the objective of converting trucks into hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles and establishing green hydrogen production along the same trucking routes.

A German government-funded initiative to advance SunHydrogen's nanoparticle-based green hydrogen technology toward commercial scale production. The project brings SunHydrogen together with six German partners in industry and science.
