Primary Hydrogen Drills Down on Atlantic Hydrogen: Precision Field Sampling Targets Clean Fuel Potential

Primary Hydrogen Drills Down on Atlantic Hydrogen: Precision Field Sampling Targets Clean Fuel Potential

Primary Hydrogen Corp. is kicking off Phase 2 of its natural hydrogen exploration in Newfoundland and Labrador. This next step covers a massive 8,550 hectares across the Mary’s Harbour and Point Rosie areas. Teaming up with INRS and Eastern Geo Services, the company’s taking a cutting-edge approach, using advanced, lab-tested soil gas detection techniques to hunt for signs of hydrogen hiding below the surface—and doing it with a lot more precision than efforts of the past.

Bringing Science to the Forefront of Natural Hydrogen Detection

This isn’t just another field sampling run—it’s one of the most science-driven hydrogen campaigns happening in North America right now. By using portable gas detectors and sticking to field protocols developed by INRS, Primary Hydrogen is working hard to make sure the data they collect actually reflects what’s going on underground. That means fewer false starts, more reliable results, and a much better shot at finding real, untapped sources of natural hydrogen.

Shining a Spotlight on Canada’s Hydrogen Potential

To give the campaign a profile boost—and maybe spark some investor buzz—Primary Hydrogen has extended a $400,000 marketing agreement with Euro Digital Media, pending exchange approval. There’s no equity on the table here; it’s strictly about increasing visibility. And if their soil sampling comes back with strong evidence of clean fuel down below, it could mark a big turning point for hydrogen production in the region. Canada might just be sitting on its next big leap forward in the sustainable energy game.
